The “Outstanding” School Musicals Company Wins Prestigious Award
Just two years after launching The School Musicals Company, we are understandably delighted to have won the “Outstanding Musical Theatre/Drama Resource” award at this year’s Music Teacher “Awards For Excellence”. We have received wonderful feedback from the hundreds of schools and youth theatres about our shows and publications, “brilliant” comments from Teaching Drama Magazine and to now receive accreditation from industry professionals is the icing on the cake.
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 6th March at the prestigious Sheraton Grand Hotel in Mayfair, sponsored by Classic FM and hosted by presenter Anne-Marie Minhall. Up against Disney’s Aladdin, Out of the Ark Music and Easy Peasy Plays to name but a few, our whole range of musicals, nativities, song books and carol services was recognised for the way it complemented and enhanced the school curriculum, as well as for the quality of the publications and music.
We started The School Musicals Company because we wanted to provide children and teachers with resources that were perfectly pitched to create exciting, energetic, enjoyable and stress-free productions and occasions. This remains at the heart of everything we produce and we look forward to developing many more resources over the years to come.
